School Leaver Programme

School Leaver Programmes are often called Higher Apprenticeships.  They’re aimed at students with A levels (or equivalent qualifications), who have decided not to go to University but would rather go into the world of work. You will find that they often still ask for UCAS points although the number required will vary by Company/Programme. You can find them in all business sectors.

Examples of programmes are listed below.

Grant Thornton, BDO and Ernst & Young all offer excellent programmes in accountancy where you will be professionally qualified without attending university.

Marks & Spencer run a programme for young people interested in a career in retail management.

ILEX (Institute of Legal Executives) offers qualifications for students keen to persue the legal sector.

Deloitte Bright Start School Leaver Programme They are looking for  ambitious students who have an interest in business and finance, and are on target to achieve 300+ UCAS Points

KPMG Audit school leaver programme opportunity to join their fantastic Audit team, gain an accounting degree, and become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).

Aviva offer actual and underwriting apprenticeship programmes nationally

National Grid offer an Engineer Trainee programme whereby you complete a fully funded Degree in either Electrical Power Engineering or Gas Transmission Engineering.
